Best owner for the Pistons?
There are a lot of potential buyers for the Detroit Pistons, but I think that Mike Ilitch is the best fit. Ilitch is not only bidding for the Pistons, but he wants to buy the entire Palace Sports& and Entertainment organization. If purchased this deal would include the Pistons, the Palace of Auburn Hills arena, DTE Energy Music Theater and anything else associated with the Palace. Ilitch has great experience in team ownership, owning the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers for many years. This would help our city a lot by bringing more money so we can rebuild our rundown neighborhoods. Even if Ilitch fails to buy the Pistons (hoping that he doesn't) he will still build a new arena downtown for the Red Wings so they can move out of the old Joe Louis Arena.

ILitch would def keep the Piston in town, while others may try to move them out because of the state of the city's economy and the bad reputation we have.
ReplyDeleteILitch is DEFINATELY the BEST fit for the Pistons....He has invested in Detroit and he will also I feel bring Investors and money back into Detroit for its Revitalization. Back it up L.Brooks Patterson because Ilitch is making moves....
